Light Recreational Watersports
In the event you are looking for light recreational kayaking, paddle boards, etc... we would recommend using Divers Republic, SUP Curacao, Windsurfing Curacao, ProSail, or Adrenaline Tours.
Divers Republic rents kayaks and is located at Coral Estate, just 2 minutes down the road from Villa Seashell.
ProSail is located at the Spanish Water. You can rent kayaks and sailboats at Prosail. They also give sailing courses.
SUP Curacao and Windsurfing Curacao, are both located at Caracasbay. Sup Curacao organizes guided standup paddling tours and rents boards. At Windsurfing Curacao, you can rent windsurf boards, and they also give windsurf courses. Check out their websites to see what more they have in store for you.
Adrenaline Tours is located at the Caracas Bay. Here you can rent kayaks and SUPs. They also do kayak tours combined with snorkeling or a visit at the historic Fort Beekenburg.

Power Boats
If you are looking for a power boat, here is our recommendation; ProSail at the Spanish has rigid inflatable power boats (brand: Caribe) with 15 HP Yamaha outboard engine are for rent on an hourly basis. You can easily visit all the nooks and corners of Spanish Water and enjoy Barbara Beach with its magnificent snorkeling reef. There is a speed limit of 10 miles per hour. The boats are fully equipped and registered. If one of the participants has a local boat masters' certificate, he or she can navigate the boat. Otherwise, a captain will join free of charge.
Jet Ski Excursions
Curacao is not the best place for jet skiing at sea. This is because the waves are short and bumpy.
If you are going to do a Jet Ski Excursion, we recommend going with Adrenaline Tours located at the Caracas Bay. This is a very large bay, with plenty of space to enjoy yourself. The guys at Adrenaline Tours are excellent hosts and help you to feel comfortable and safe with the equipment. If you like to you can also combine renting jet skis with a snorkel excursion to the sunken tugboat, one of the nicest snorkel locations at Curacao.
Adrenaline Tours also has Aquaboats, which are custom made boats. They are wider then a jet ski and perfect for touring. The Aquaboats drive more as a comfortable touring car whereas a jet ski drives more like a sports car.

Excursions
There are many opportunities to do boat excursions. One of our favorite and highly recommended excursions is a day trip to Klein Curacao, the uninhabited island 15 miles south-east of Curacao. This is a little piece of unspoiled paradise!
The trip there can be a little rough but is a cool experience. It takes about an hour and a half or two to get there. Once you got there, it is truly paradise. You can snorkel and see sea turtles if you are lucky, hang out on the beach (softest sand you will ever experience), and check out a couple shipwrecks and the abandoned lighthouse.
Mermaid Boat Trips, Bounty Adventures, and Miss Ann all offer excursions to Klein Curacao. Power Boat and Adrenaline Tours offer private charters to the island
There are many other possibilities to do boat excursions. For instance, an afternoon sailing tour to the east side of the island with the sailing ship Insulinde, which is docked in Willemstad's harbor.
If you enjoy sailing and like to combine that with an excellent dinner, try Sailing Charter Curacao. Their Italian captain treats you with Prosecco and a mouth-watering Italian meal.
Pelican Tours does harbor, sunset and snorkel excursions to the west side of the island. The snorkel excursion stops at the Blue Room. Bounty Adventure organizes snorkel excursions around the Caracas Bay but also does romantic sunset sails.
Adrenaline Tours has a diverse package of all kind of boat excursions: sunset tours; water taxi services; and even speedboat adventures.
Calypso Tours has snorkel tours, but if you're not interested in snorkeling they have interesting excursions to the Spanish water and Fuik Bay.
Our favorite Divers Republic also organizes dive, snorkel, and sunset boat excursions from Coral Estate, with excellent catering on board from restaurant Karakter.
